Bio

Born and raised in south west Florida(Ft. Town). By my parents being from School teachers and By going to school in North Carolina, My Heart was always in the South But My Mind Was Bigger. It was Cool growing up in the Dunbar Community which is rich in heritage and Pride. As for music, as a youth we were only exposed to top 40 sound. My parents were heavy into Motown/Stax/Atlantic Soul music and of course Gospel. But as the years past I was able to see the Birth and Growth of Hip-hop and the Urban sound. My teen years definitely was great with the Influence of BET. I can remember when we only had top 40 and rock stations around here. But Look at us now. Hip-hop has made it to mainstream!!!

Big Smooth’s Start-I was always into music. And By going to College in North Carolina I was exposed to pure hip-hop and east coast Flava. NC was a meeting place for westcoast east coast and Dirty south. I can say that my biggest influence to dee-jaying had to be from The souths Jam Pony express dee-jays out of Ft Lauderdale florida. Then DC’s DJ Kool(“Let me Clear My Throat”.) While in college we experimented with the Southern style Djs form of Bass Funk mixed tapes. But My true beginnings in Dee-Jaying came from My Boss Now My Frat Brother Principal Charles Dailey who gave me my first gig dee-jaying a basketball game. I borrowed my best friends Mr. (J-Rock) Jones Equipment. Then I took off from there. I think its all divine intervention cause I always dreamed of Dee-Jaying and Now Thanks to Lil Trav and Suga 1045.com Im about to be Live on the Radio. Shots Out to.
