THE NOTORIOUS DJ KOOL G has masterminded a legendary career in the music industry as Miami’s hottest club DJ and Radio Mix Show DJ (WEDRFM Miami,FL.) In the early 90's DJ KOOL G became the MC & Co -DJ for Florida's hottest dancehall Sound (The Waggy Tee Sound) helping to establish this sound as one of the hottest dancehall reggae sounds in the world! KOOL G then held down the spot as one of the best underground rap DJ's on Miami's legendary Mixx 96.1fm's underground radio station while he DJ KHALED & other known DJ's rocked the airwaves . At this time DJ KOOL G rocked legendary South Beach Clubs like "CREAM" and made guest appearances at "Sugar Shack". IN 1994 KOOL G then became Miam's hottest R&B and Hip-hop DJ setting off Miam's very popular First Friday parties while working for celebs like Alonzo morning (Miami Heat) at CLUB ONYX south Beach & Louis Oliver (formerly of the Miami Dolphins) at Club Amnesia South Beach. In 1998 DJ KOOL G was hired at Miam's #1 radio Station WEDRFM 99JAMZ. He has drawn diverse crowds to such clubs as The Seminole Hard Rock Casino's Opium Lounge, Club Spirits, SoBe Live (VH1 Rated #1 South Beach Club) Voodoo Lounge, Bermuda Bar, Cafe Iguanas Martini bar, The Mix Ultra lounge in Las Vegas and over 70 local and national clubs spanning 20 yrs plus . Since 1998, Kool G has contributed to the success of several Platinum artists while forming close affiliations with major labels such as Def Jam, Universal and Interscope and many others. Kool G is notoriously known for helping to break careers of some of the worlds hottest artists such as Pitbull, as well as records by Eminem, 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Flo-Rida T Pain & others. He has received many Gold and Platinum RIAA plagues, for his involvement in breaking these hits in the nightclubs and on the radio. DJ KooL G's name has appeared in The Source Magazine's 2004 Terror Squad issue for music production credits, as well as Hip- Hop Weekly's 2010 Hottest Hip Hop Cities Issue, as one of the nations Top DJ's. The Notorious Kool G has been a mainstay on Miami’s leading urban radio station, 99JAMZ for the past 13 years. Well over 2 million Miami listeners tuned in daily to hear Kool G's weekly legendary mid-day mixes.
